Suzy the swan
Thought something was wrong
For her feathers
Were stubby and brown
Now a year since that date
She’s found a proud mate
And her beauty
Is the talk of the town
All Doggies do, Doggie
Do
But do you know how
much Doggie Do
A Doggie does?
You mean, how much
Doggie Do
Does a Doggie do?
I don’t know, do
you?
No, but I’m sure a
Doggie does
The cockerel crowed
At five a.m.
And twice again
At six
He puffed out his chest
Raised his beak
And this
Is what he said
“Good morning, wake up
Now open your eyes
The sun is shining
It’s time to rise”
Now here’s a thing
I dreamt last night
It may sound
strange, but I’m sure it’s right
I went for a walk,
down the lane past the tree
There stood a lone
cow, in the pale moonlight
She smiled and
sang, once more for me
As I stood and
listened, by the old oak tree
“You are not
dreaming, for all cows sing well
But it matters not,
how many you tell
For unless they too,
believe it’s true
Then all they’ll
hear, is simply, a moo”
Freddie the frog
Fell madly in love
And for his lover
He had a surprise
A wonderful dish
Which he bought
from a fish
He gave her, two
dozen…
Dead flies
